If it is the same diff as used on Land Rovers then you could ask on a Land Rover forum as they know pretty much all there is to know about running diffs upside down and backwards when they build mid engine competition vehicles.
You might even find my old 6x6 running upside down diffs on there.

OK, Sorry to those who would like to see the EV thesis but the one on house to grid has been accepted by the panel I had to present to. I will now be investigating house storage batteries so I can submit my thesis in July. The battery debate will effect EVs too as, apart from mass and volume, the th...

Hello Nigel, Sounds like you have an interesting situation there that is worth exploring. How do you monitor your electricity useage? Do you aim to consume only when you are generating, where possible, or do you just consume when you want? I assume that if you are able to store your surplus then you...

Thanks Jon, yes, it is something that is done. The sort of installations I know of are usually houses in isolated places using renewable generation and a bank of ex submarine batteries. Shame about the time remaining on Ebay, MB, I won't have time to sort out finances for it otherwise it would have been very tempting as it would allow me to carry goods as well (or more batteries). I guess for that sort of money I have more options then just a Maxi scooter. I shall have to get some ...

£5500, options
I am going to test drive a Vectrix maxi scooter. If I were to buy one it would cost me around £5500 which I will need to find from somewhere. It would give good top speed, good range and, hopefully, no reliability issues as a new vehicle. But it does mean that I will get wet and have to wear all ...
