Midlands - Sunday 25th May - BVS AGM

A reminder that the AGM is now only a week and a half away.
So, who is coming then?

I hope that as many members as possible will be able to come, and participate in the discussions, as we hand over the care of our society to a new committee. Whilst some committee post-holders will probably stay in their current positions, we are also anticipating some new faces on the committee this year. It is my hope that this influx of 'fresh blood' will be beneficial to the society, and that the experience of the more seasoned committee members will also continue to benefit us. For myself, I look forward to a positive year ahead for the society. :-)

The AGM will be held at Old Milverton Village Hall, and it starts at 4pm, as stated on the Agenda. Excellent directions and location details were included by Qdos in the last edition of Plugged In magazine. Members will also be receiving further information about various AGM matters with a copy of BVR which is being posted out to members at the end of this week - people should start receiving this on Saturday/Monday.

So, is it really just me that's coming this weekend then? And maybe Aminorjourney too? ;-)

Of course, if it is just me in an empty room, guess I can decide whatever I like

I'd love to come Mary , but as they decided to change it to yet another bank holiday I was already well booked up on my music event that I run long before. Sorry.

Would be good if loads of folk could go.

Yes, bank holiday weekends are most definitely not the best time to hold a society's AGM. I hope that next year we will have the AGM in a colder part of the year when people are less likely to be booked up, and not over a bank holiday.

Still, fingers crossed that we get a few people there.
