ELECTRATHON 2010 IT'S ON/C500-WOW!

Postby ex925 » Fri May 07, 2010 9:23 am

Hi C5 guys, from Ed, E.D., and all involved, brilliant!!
Just your enthusiasm alone would both psychologically power the Electrathon AND inspire any others who found your site
This morning, I'm knackered (and disillusioned, yet again) from the election (yes, I'm part of the problem...) BUT.............
Just looked at the C500, and got a surge of revitalised enthusiasm for something I think is really worth doing, which is:
designing and building and using and evolving EVs so Joe public can see they WORK, and ENJOYING THE PROCESS

My hat off to you all, you made me feel lots better
NOW BACK TO THE GARAGE AND make some more progress on mine

MEANTIME.... IS THE ELECTRATHON STILL ON?..... OH YES IT IS - because:
We have a new BVS EVents and competitions co-ordinator, John Cave
John emailed me today to say he will be at Presteigne this weekend
Then he will be getting stuck into all the BVS/SCR correspondence I have sent him
(Poor John, what did he do to deserve that?..... Oh, yes, I remember! He volunteered)
Then - "Watch this space" you'll love it
I am really looking forward to September. hoping the new "Bigger Dog" will be fit and fast
Most enjoyable of of all, though, will be the "gathering" of so many different varieties of EV folks and EV ingenuity
(especially as I had to miss Santa Pod!)
All the best
Ed

Excellent! Even had to shut down before the crest to avoid taking off!
Can't wait to see it full-bore, 25th/26th this month
At Shakespeare County Raceway, I hope?
Sir Clive's legacy, evolved!
And then some!!!
All the best
Ed
