...Tim, why not join? After all, it's only £15 a year ;)

That is my intention, but I haven't managed to get around to printing out the form. It's downloaded and everything, just not printed out.

Just got back from t'meeting (must be catching).

Well done Tes! It was really good to meet everyone and put faces to names. Eight of us turned up in the end, which isn't bad at all for a first gathering on a very rainy Saturday. Between us we had one and a half electric vehicles, and I went for my first ride (round the car park) in a Berlingo (Ian's) – very impressed.

Looking forward to a drag race between Tesla and Steve when Steve sorts out his motor problem and Tesla has finished designing and building everything from scratch.

Everyone agreed that it'd be good to get together sometime early next year. Not decided on a time or a place yet, but Mary suggested a steam rally, which sounds like a laugh. Didn't see your message until I got back Tim, but if you still want to see that article in the last issue of the magazine I've got a spare copy I'll post to you. Just PM me with your address.

Ian took a couple of photos, so they should turn up eventually.

Cheers
Malcolm

Thanks!

Thanks for organising the meet today Tesla.

It was great to meet everyone, and to talk to people about my project with Timpootle.

Look forward to seeing you all, and hopefully some more new faces too, in the spring.

Mary x

If you could make it the Corbridge steam engine rally I would be able to drive my electric truck and my trike to it.

Peter, driving a truck and a trike simultaneously would be an event in its self. :)

Great plan I'm looking forward to seeing your truck, I don't know anything about the trike is that en EV :?:

Well i think Malcolm said it all, We had a fantastic time and i got to drive a Berlingo now i know what all the fuss is about there ace.

I accept your challenge of the mini race it will be Home brew verses chianti. Since he has all them expensive EV bits behind him :)

Here is to a fantastic meet
Tesla

Greetings

Love to see some photos of the trike if you've got any yet Peter. Is it two wheels forward or two wheels rear (tadpole or delta)? What motor are you using?
