AGM and also BVS stand coordinator?

So, who is the person who is coordinating what happens at the BVS stand at the show?

And also, who is the person who is coordinating the arrangements for the AGM?

This may be one and the same person I realise.

I ask about the Soneleigh show coordinator because I don't know who to officially go to in order to offer to help out on the BVS stand at the show. I imagine I need to sign up with them to offer to 'man' the stand at a particular time or something.

And I ask about the AGM coordinator because on the BVS site it lists the AGM as taking place 'all day', which would seem excessively long for an AGM ;-) So I want to find out the timings and location for the AGM (to make sure I don't offer to be on the stand when I will be at the AGM) - guess we have a meeting room booked at the lodge for it?
http://www.stoneleighparklodge.com/

As an aside, if we don't already have a meeting room booked at the lodge for the AGM, I am happy to look into this for the society. I have booked a bedroom in the lodge for Saturday night and Sunday night, to make a weekend of it, so I might be able to haggle over the cost of the room hire as I have already spent money with them. Just a thought, though I guess that a meeting room for the AGM may have already have been sorted.

So yeah, a few things I need to know, so it would be useful to know who I should be approaching about all this.

Apologies if I am asking things that everyone else knows (I imagine info about the AGM and Stoneleigh will be in the latest magazine). I have paid to join the society, but as I am joining so close to the end of the society's year my membership will run from 1st April - so I haven't seen the latest magazine.

Thanks,

Mary.

I want to go to this and bring along my mini-el and a Sinclair C5.

Sadly I cant commit until next at the earliest ( damn job issues are really starting to annoy me now  ).

Is it possible to still attend on a "last minute" basis ?

Excellent! Keep checking at the main site for latest info as it's dynamic

Mike , I hope you dont mind but I've tweaked your subject line to bring it into line with the new style and also added the AGM to it.

Kelvin can we get some details or links to details of the AGM i.e where it is and directions.

We'd love as many folk who can get to the AGM to pop along to it and show folks your appreciation to the folks that make the BVS possible, you can even have a go at helping out as theres loads of little sections that folk can put there names down for to help the society, also its a great chance to see how the internals of the society works

Remember this society is for the members and if we dont know how you feel we cant act on and develope the future of the soceity into something we can all be proud of 8)

So do please pop along and if you cant then feel free to suggest stuff on this thread and someone can make your views known at the AGM on your behalf I'm sure

Directions will be available in Plugged In which is with the printers at the moment. So all the payed up members can carry it with them and have some handy directions to find the Grand Lodge

If you're not a member well pop along to the BVS stand at the show and you can buy a copy at Non members rates or better still you can join and then vote !

Am I going mad or really blind ??

A ) The blind bit.

I cannot see any address for Stoneliegh, either on this forum or the BVS site.

Where is Stoneliegh ?
Whereabouts in Stoneliegh ?
Must be somewhere in Dumbshire !

If the address is on the net, then it is well hidden, and definitely does NOT jump out and bite !!!

B ) The mad bit.

Copied and pasted from the BVS site -
