Finally made it. If you can read this, the DNS propagation has made it to you and you are now using the Falcoda host.

Please report and problems you find here.

Enjoy!

Working fine here, even seems a lot faster loading and posting.

Time will tell but I'm hopeful these guys will be OK as I have another site with them and a friend runs all his bussiness stuff through them and he's very pleased with the service 8)

Well done Timbo, sorry folks for all the messing about, hopefully we are now on a nice stable host and we can get on gassing about EV's 8)

Apologies for the outage this morning but Falcoda seemed to be having an issue with the server we are hosted

web160
2009-08-15 08:16:17

We are currently having adverse performance on this server, and are investigating the causes.

We expect to have it back to normal operation soon, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I recon we must jinx places, I've been with Falcoda for over three years with my car club and todate we've never had issues, we get the BVS with them and it falls over within three weeks  mind you I will say Falcoda do sort their issues out ASAP even over weekends and keep you up to speed with the fix.

Since the outage have folks been having problems with slow posting.

I'm finding that when posting it doesnt always appear to go so you submit it again and end up double posting

Just trying to work out if its just me or its a more widespread issue :?

EDIT just did it again to me

As I know some of you pop on here at odd hours just thought I'd warn you of some Planned System Maintenance.

Core Network Maintenance between 5AM and 7.30AM

2009-09-13 06:00:00

Our network providers will be carrying out some network maintenance at this time. Internet sessions will be restarted during this maintenance window, therefore customers may experience some minor disruption to Internet Transit while traffic is re-routed.

So may get some errors during those times

Apologies for the outage this afternoon. This was us departing from Vispa and moving the last tranche (DNS and email) to Falcoda. Hopefully things will continue to go smoothly from now on.

Thank you for your patience.

Whey hey looks like the DNS has propergated to my home ISP some 24hrs, this morning it had made it to my works ISP but its taken all day to make it to the home one.

There may still be others as I got a phone call from another member using a 3G mobile connection and he couldnt get to the site ealier this evening.

Hopefully the DNS will slowly work its way round the rest of the world

Sorry about the outage but it all happened in a bit of a rush due to a couple of things but we should be nice and stable now 8)
