I don't know if this is old news but someone is building lightweight battery motor cross bikes that will compete, albeit for a limited duration, with the petrol equivalent.

But with a 18HP motor and a 16 Ah battery it's not going to be a commuter

If you keep your eyes peeled you might just see a mention of an EV Motocross bike in the magazine. I've ridden one recently and I have to say it's GREAT FUN! not sure weather it will have made the copy that's just hitting your door mats over the next few days or if it will be in the next mag.

Anyone else out there had a try on any of these EVs ?
