Please help build a local sustainable taxi service

A business model for local car dealers to help local taxi companies switch to electric is being assessed.

In order to do that relevant data is needed to verify the model's feasibility and value to the dealer.

Spending just 2 minutes of your time to complete the online survey will provide the necessary data to help make this happen with the knowledge that you are helping to build a better local environment.
(dont forget to submit the survey by clicking the "Done" button)

The more contributions that can be gathered the more accurate the business model, so if you can pass onto your friends and neighbours I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance for doing this.

Hi, Robert.
I've just done the survey, but wasn't sure how helpful my replies will have been. I had to answer that we both (my wife & I) do 0 miles commuting to work each day, since we're retired (and anyway, I used to walk to work). But I use the taxi regularly, almost exclusively for short journeys, often in rush-hour traffic, to and from the train station or airport - for which electric cabs would make huge sense.

Anyway - good luck! It would be great to see electric cabs become a reality.
Regards, David

Hi Dave,

Thanks a lot for your reply.
All examples of taxi usage will help to understand how they are used and thanks for your thoughts.

Rob

Hi,

I assume you are aware of C&C Taxis in St Austell, Cornwall who run 5 LEAFs and have a rapid charger on the premises also (open to the public, for a fee)? MW
