Has anyone tried the battery pack from a Toyota Prius? Has this subject been covered?

They're pretty low capacity, only good enough to drive a Prius around a km or so when fully charged. It should be possible to stack lots of Prius packs up together to make an EV pack, but it would be very expensive, plus you'd need to sort out some sort of battery management system, as that's built in to the Prius.
