Had a lovely e-mail from a chap today who use to work on the lucas project in the 70's

Apparently the General Manager Geoff Harding who ran the project at Lucas died recently and a lot of the guys who where on the project met up at his funeral on Friday 11th Aug.

I have invited him over so with luck he will pop along, it will be great to hear from someone who was originally on the team at Lucas

Oh that would be great to speak with someone who was on the original group.

I did have contact with one chap, Prof Roger Kemp who is Head of Engineering Dept at Lancaster University. He was there in the 70's and I did get a chance to speak with him but he had forgotten a lot of the people he worked with in the design labs.

He sent me pics of the mark 2 and 3 controller but he had left by the time the Mk1V was in production for the Bedford and Sherpa.

Way ahead of their time..............
