Hi there...
I have a Zivan charger which I am about to install.
Am am running 50mm2 cable throughout the vehicle, btwn the batteries and the controller and the motor.
The charger came with a high current plug on it, to connect to the batteries. However, the lugs on the plug can only take wire with about 8mm diameter. Max output of the charger is 25A.
Will I be OK running 8mm dia wire (approx 20mm2) from the charger to the batteries?
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards
Christopher

Oh yes that shouldnt be a problem really.
You could even go down smaller than that if you wanted.
If your running REALLY long wires then you might get some volt drop on it but you could get away with 6mm easily for it.
Your only using the big stuff cos you need to move several hundered amps about .
