I was tailed into Asda yesterday by a German guy who had noticed my bike was electric and wanted to know all about it. He was almost dancing with excitement :D

When I owned my Fiesta which ran with 120v 10x12v 110Ah C5 (supposedly, but I was never convinced) elecsols :roll: it had a calculated range of 54miles @ 30mph but in the real world of stop start driving I never got more than 35 miles from it :cry:

Geeky;
My Dodge Ram 50 (Mitsubishi) pickup pulls 90A at 30-32 mph. I have 6 deep cycle 12V lead acid batterys. I am new at this but my range appears to be 15-20 miles. An acquaintance of mine says range can be roughly estimated at 1 mile for 20# of lead.
