Can anyone help me ?.
I have to collect an EV from Basingstoke around the weekend of 14/15th July and get her to Maidstone Kent.
With a full charge from Basingstoke - I think I can get to about Chertsey in the West to Reigate in the East but I am hoping to find a sympathetic BVS member that might help me out.
I am thinking that places like Wisley, Weybridge, Cobham, Leatherhead, Dorking, Caterham, Godstone, Oxsted etc would do for a one off boostup. These places are about half way from Basingstoke to Maidstone and I would need to be able to plug in at one of them for 3-4 hrs before continuing the journey.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou
John

Hi John,
So which EV is it you are collecting from Basingstoke ?
Is it David Sheen's Berlingo ? as he lives about 1 mile away from me
Have you looked on http://www.ev-network.memberlodge.org
as there is a public charge point at Sutton, East Sussex, SM1 1EA, but I guess that is a bit high for you.
I cant think of anything that I can help with, but let me know if there is.
You are welcome to drop in a for a drink before departing from Basingstoke ?
One thing you can try is to ask pubs along the way if you can recharge when you have lunch there that seems to get them interested.
Regards,
Rob

So I suppose I have to sell the "Green Machine" soon to make the wife happy !
I'll just wait abit incase I get any probs woth the Blingo.

I obtained the seats for my first Blingo EV seat conversion from some company doing wheelchair conversions - only £30. Trouble is they still want most of the trim parts. So tomnoz I am off to the junk yard to strip down a multispace for bits of trim.
Today I saw a LHD peugeot partner van (in France) that had complete interior load bay plastic mouldings. In the UK the vans are just bare metal in the load bay and third party suppliers do lining kits in plywood.
