maybe a system to warn the driver he is driving without seatbelt... or a part of the Airbag system ( to tell the system there is a foll driving ) ?

try to but both belts in the holder and see if the error is still there

thanks boelle, seems strange as i would have thought that the car would bleep at you if you didnt put your seat belt on but nothing????

maybe an old no longer used system installed by previous owner SOUTHERN ELECTRICITY.....

cant wait for it to get hotter and do some investigations on the van but she does run well AT THE MO lol

Yeah it is for the seat belt system that isn't there, there is also a pyrotechnic pretensioner on the other side of each seat belt in the seat boxs.

was it fitted by citroen, i suppose you coulds ijn theroy connect it to the door switch to make it beep like the door would when opened in drive.

im abit confused about this central locking still, does all berlingos have remote centrl locking as i dont want to waste £20+ on a fob when it isnt even installed lol

From what i have see the 53 reg ones have lecy windows and remote locks mine has anyway. but if you want to check the module is behind the drivers seat in the rear wing.
