I like the look of that! It's on the day after we get back from holiday and only a short hop on the train from Arundel. Amberly is a lovely place and I have not visited the museum for a long time.

Do we know if there will be a recharge point available down there and a display area for a Berlingo as if there is I could bring the Berlingo down as well .............not that its a micro car

Amberly is a cracking musum and well worth a visit with loads of attractions including an electric vehicle section 8)

Amberley Museum Charging Point

Postby rubin » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:49 pm

I have found out that there is access to a charging point for an electric vehicle on Sunday. It will not be near the micro car display but then what the heck. Cheers Neil B

Sorry mate, entry has to be registered. My mini-el is being admitted to the Amberley micro-car rally as an exhibit. This isn't an event I've organised or have any control over, my hope was to have a few items next to my mini-el to promote the BVS - much like I did at Ardingly.

Earlier in the thread it says there is a charging point at Amberley - give them a buzz and I'm sure they confirm whether or not you can use their facilities.

Despite lots of usual British "liquid sunshine" , the event was a success.

Lots of friendly interested visitors , and a good turn out of vehicles

Some piccies from the day, courtesy of Martin 'coz I forgot to take that many
